I'm still here!

I havent been around much, but im still here :D

I am blogging to update you all about Cherish/Sweet Knitted Bottoms..
I have decided to take a break from WAHM world for myself, my family and my pregnancy.. I am due on September 24, but it feels as though I will be having this baby earlier than my due date.. I feel so huge already!

I am enjoying my time off and hopefully after the baby moon, i will be ready to take on more custom orders, to bring you all brand new knitted things at my store.. :)

I havent updated in a while, nothing much changed though..

Ive been busy knitting for my little one.. I am almost done w/ his stash, the 2 dozen OBV NB fitteds are ordered, and in the works now! I am done dyeing prefolds, 3+ dozen of trimmed prefolds in different semi-solid colors.. (Pics soon to come!)

Ive got a couple of NB sets on the needles.. Calisto linen still in progress that I need to pick up, it's been a while.. Also a 1981 Skirty, that's 15% done, I started w/ the pleats, but havent picked up..

Prefolds, Fitteds and Wool

I've decided to go with this system.. Simple and easy.. I remember when I was cd-ing Lena, I did prefolds and wool mostly.. That was when she was around 1, I just needed a couple of pockets and fitteds and pul covers for my family..

I have 2-3 dozen prefolds prepped and ready, NB/Infant sized, toddler pf cut in half..
Some are dyed already.. My next project is to finish dyeing all of the pfs..

Fitteds, Ive decided to go with good quality and affordability.. Im sending my good friend some of my fabric stash, and ordered 2 dozen NB t&t fitteds.. Very excited about that! No prints though, I just want plain obv inner and solid outer..

Busy knitting NB sets still.. I made longies, w/ different inseam lengths hopefully one or two will fit my baby..

We went to a little trip to Myrtle Beach last weekend.. Here are some pics of Lena @ Broadway..

Unsuccessful, with shopping that is.. I cant decide..
Wool is not a problem for me, I can knit and do as many sets for the new baby..
But diapers, I dont know.. I am hunting for fitteds, I dont think OS would work so im looking at NB/SM dipes, but there's just so many choices.. I have toddler prefolds that havent been used, that I already cut in half to make NB/infant pfs, those are prepping right now.. I will pretty them up w/ boy colors when it's fully prepped..

Im just.. having a hard time picking the dipes to make our NB/SM cd stash..
I guess ill just have to get one of each, lol if only $ wasnt a problem..

I am stocking the Cherish Skirty with final price reduction at $40ppd tomorrow, to clear out the inventory.. Ive been putting away my craft stuff and clearing my sewing/knitting stash just to make room.. I love seeing an organized craft corner..

I havent taken pics of the knits I finished, I will post those very very soon.. :D
Im also still trying to get a bunch of things done in the house, the yard, so Ive been busy on that.. DH and I also set up a small pool for DD last weekend, a friend of ours gave it to us.. She's having fun with that, we're outside most of the time now.. I get online everyday, but on and off and I just updated my facebook, finally, lol.. Friends add me @ dayan_zzz@yahoo.com :D My Ravelry is always updated too, add me @ CherishSKB..

It's a ...

It's a BOY!!!

My early ultrasound was right, now, we're 100% sure it's a boy.. He didnt have a problem showing us, he was just moving a lot during the ultrasound, my OB paused three times to capture a pic.. My due date is pushed back one day, it's now 0924 but I really do have a feeling he will be here earlier..

The two sets I made were all very boyish, phew!
I will be updating with pics in the next few days..
Right now, im working on another set using my scrap semi-solids from the other two sets I made earlier.. How many longies and hat sets does a NB need? Im thinking as many I can knit, lol.. My boyish colorway ideas will be dyed soon and will be made as sets too..

Im going to be busy hunting for NB/SM fitteds and outfits..
Oooh, im so excited! Shopping time!
